Pinterest, Otherwise Known As: My New Obsession!

I have recently discovered the amazing world of Pinterest. Whoever created it is just genius. I am always finding pictures on the internet that inspire me. Whether it is ideas for the home, recipes, photography inspiration, photography studio envy inspiration, cute ideas for Jacob's bedroom or playroom, crafts, etc. Before, I would bookmark the page, and even though I was pretty good about creating categories for my bookmarks, it was a pain to bookmark a whole page for one photo. Not to mention that when you are looking at your list of bookmarks, it just shows your description. With hundreds of bookmarks, I don't want to have to open every single one to find a picture I liked 6 months ago! Pinterest solves this problem. The program installs a little “Pin This” button on your tool bar and whenever you are browsing the web and see something you like, click the button, select the picture you like, and it adds it to your Pinterest board. You can create unlimited number of boards to further organize your pictures. AND, you can browse through your friends' boards, or even complete strangers, and 're-pin' pictures that other people have found. I use it the most for photography inspiration. A perfect example is a picture I came across on a board of a wonderful photographer who I follow on Facebook- Niki Manning.  I love, love, love newborn feet and simply adore this picture. I immediately started going through some past newborn shoots to see if I had any photos that would work for this idea. Here are some I played around with this morning.  I really love how the feet in the bottom picture create a capital 'L', but I don't know if it is obvious at first.  Maybe you need something like the 'v' that is in the middle of a word so it is easier for people to read at first glance.   Hmmm....
